DIY Movement Class

No dance experience is required! The class structure will be the following:

  • Introduction and Overview of The Movement Class (10 min)
  • Guided meditation (5 min)
  • Playlist used – The Truth Playlist

What you need to do

  • Plug the computer into a sound system or use the playlist link to play on a separate device/speaker that allows you to fully immerse yourself in the music
  • Make sure you’re in a quiet space where you have privacy and won’t be interrupted.
  • Wear comfortable workout clothes that allow you to move. 
  • Have a yoga mat or rug nearby to stretch, sit, or lay down in the warm-up and cool-down stages of the experience.
  • Have a water bottle or drink close by to stay hydrated throughout the dance session

And make sure that you:

  • Allow yourself to be, move, and express in any way you desire – that includes crying, screaming, jumping, or any kind of movement that feels intuitive
  • Practice radical acceptance for yourself at all times
  • Let go of any judgment, fear or shame that may come up
